White Sands 2

Welcome to our White Sands Condo from Rent On Padre. This is a Beautiful 3BR/2BA Duplex located on South Padre Island. This is a gorgeous second story of a duplex that sleeps up to 11 people! This condo is very spacious with lots of room for everyone.. You get 2 King Size Beds, and a sleeper sofa. The third bedroom is a bunk room which includes a twin bunk, and full/twin bunk. It is fresh and clean!

Also included are Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher as well as other things to make it easier to enjoy your home away from home

This condo has a view of the water. You can see the Gulf from the front balcony and the Bay from the Back Balcony.

This condo is located at 113 White Sands. You are less than a block to the Beach Access. This may be a private residential duplex, but you do have many of the amenities you get at a larger condo complex. You have access to the Holiday Inn Express pool and hot tub right outside your back door. It is gorgeous and well kept. During the busy spring and summer, you can watch the fireworks at Clayton's from your front balcony! Or head out to the beach to see them, Clayton's is just around the corner!

Located nearby is the Sea Turtle Inc, which is the turtle rescue center, as well as the Convention Center and Clayton's. You will love this house!

Nearby activities include: Golf, Water Park (seasonal), Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

  We had a fun weekend with our kids and their friends. We comfortably slept ten. I would consider it a good value for the space. While it is lacked some on site amenities, it was clean and comfortable. We did not take advantage of the Holiday Inn pool, but we’re given the option. There is not a true master bedroom with its own bathroom, but the two bathrooms worked well enough for our group.
  
  If you want to be close to some action near Clayton’s, this is a short walk and a good location. The friendly owner lives beneath the unit. There’s parking for two vehicles, but it can be a challenge depending on the weekend to place more vehicles nearby.

  Let me start by saying that property management was very responsive to the issues she could help with, such as broken DVD player and dropping off a set of new pans. The kitchen wasn’t stocked well enough for a group of 10 people who actually needed to cook. The house was an adequate size for 10 people and just a short walk to the beach. Overall it was nice, but worn out and needing refreshing. The mattresses on every bed are very firm. The nights were long and uncomfortable. It wouldn’t take much to make this place into a 5 star, but it isn’t one yet, not in my opinion.

  Unit was very clean, we have rented other homes/condos at the Island & this one was by far the cleanest. Loved the location being just a quick walk from the beach. The unit was spacious and comfy. The unit comes with two tandem parking spaces but the owner was nice enough to let us use a couple of extra spaces since we had more than 2 vehicles. No cons for this unit at all.

  Our host was very pleasant and a wealth of knowledge when it came to what places to eat and what to do. The location of the house was perfect with the beach about a 2 block walk and the turtle rescue across the street. My family consisted of 4 adults and one child. There was plenty of room for us. The only “issue” we experienced was a leak in the kitchen sink and once I informed the host she sent someone to fix it within the day. I did tell the host that one of the bunk beds was alittle creaky and we had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor to sleep. She did say they would tighten it up and address it for the next guests:). Overall we had a great experience and would definitely visit again!

  My family and I (11 of us) stayed here for a weekend and we really enjoyed it. The condo is on a dead end road so it did not have much traffic and is only a block walk to the beach access. Also a very short walk to Clayton's and we had pool access from Holiday Inn which is pretty much right behind the backyard. The condo was very roomy, everyone had plenty of space. Although, the sofa in the pictures is not the one in the condo; the one in the condo is very comfortable. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others who have a large family that wants to stay together.
