Welcome to Habitat 16! This gorgeous two Bedroom, two and a half baths Condo is waiting for you. This Rent On Padre condo is a beautiful 2 level unit, located on the 2nd floor. The top floor has both of your bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bath! As well as a washer and dryer located between the two bedrooms! The living room has a queen size sleeper too. You also get two private balconies, one on each floor. Great for the morning coffee! You are going to love the charm of this condo.

This condo is located less than a block to the beach, has high speed internet, one assigned parking space, private pool, and two TVs! Everything you need to enjoy your home away from home!

Habitat 16 is pet friendly with a 20 pound weight limit if you are staying for one week or more. Please contact us directly for pet approval.

  Definitely a lot of space. Cold air conditioner which was great after spending an afternoon at the beach. Well equipped with everything for a quick lunch. The pillows to the bed were comfy! We’ll definitely be back :)

  Everything was great! The condo was perfect location and even bigger than I realized. I loved having the patio grill to use. Only suggestion I would make is to have some beach towels and maybe one or two beach chairs for those that fly in as packing space is limited. Would def stay here again.

  Stayed for a month; was a nice short walk to the beach and the pool was clean and in good condition. The condo was very clean, the bed and bathroom were comfortable. However, the balcony sofa is in very poor condition and the living room furniture needs updating. Overall, the trip was very nice. Was switched to this condo when the management company mis-booked our original selection.

  unit is priced reasonably, but could benefit from updating the old and dirty furniture, most blinds are broken, posts pand and plates are in real nice shape and plentyfull, has great showers with HOT water and good water pressure. has a couple cracked floor tiles that could use replaces. Dishwasher did not work upon our arrival, and the unit only had One dish drying towel. Batteries in remotes were dead, and unit has two 3 way laps and no 3 way bulbs in the lamps. I went to walmart and purchased Led lights for the light above the dining room table, as it only had one bulb and it was very dim.

  The home was comfortable and for the most part it was clean could use some better scrubbing behind the toilets. The bed had a metal spring sticking out scratch up my leg a bit while getting on the bed. We all disliked the fact that we had to carry our trash out to the dumpsters, if we're paying a cleaning fee that should be included.

  From getting a phone call 2 weeks before we were suppose to leave to our condo being sold , we were hesitant on getting our money refunded but Rent on Padre was excellent at sending us different options. We chose Habitat 16 & we couldn’t have went wrong. A lot of space for 2 adults & 2 children. Location was okay, we’ve never been that far down on the island so exploring new attractions was a highlight of our trip. The pool was good size. Having everything at your fingertips made going on vacation good. The pictures listed on the listing was exactly what we walked into.

  Clean and quiet. We loved this place. We loved that the bedrooms were upstairs with their own bathroom. We enjoyed walking to Parrot Eyes, Kelly's Irish pub, Dona Carmen, and the Wanna Wanna to eat and drink. Great location. Rent on Padre was awesome and gave us great recommendations!

  In love with the coziness, this rental has to offer. Very clean. One annoying thing was the electrical glitch in the master bedroom. In order to keep the TV on, the light switch had to be on, so I had to manually turn on and off the room lamps to keep the light switch on so the TV can turn on and off without a headache. I figured this out on the second day of our stay. Not that much of a big deal but when on vacation, stuff like this is what we try to get away from at home.

  Great location. Walking distance to the beach. Pool was clean. Loved the shower outside to rinse off after the pool or beach. The pool area has restrooms. The townhouse had a washing machine and dryer so you can wash towels or clothes. The master bedroom patio is huge. Enough setting area in the living room for everyone. We will stay here again.

  We arrived at the Island and condo on Wednesday (6/21/17). We were so exited (especially the 5 yrs old) because it was our first time there. We found the condo to be very clean; spacious; and at an excellent location. The condo had just about everything we needed: internet wifi; cable TV; and kitchen essentials, etc. The weather was a bit hot, but because the condo was so near to the beach, we walked ( ~ 5 minutes) to the beach every day with no complaint from the 5 yrs old.
  Our rating details:
  We have no complaint whatsoever about the condo, and we would stay there again if we decide to go to SPI for a vacation next year. We very much wanted to give 5 out of 5 rating, but we felt resentment that our car was towed from parking at the assigned parking space. Here is how things went: The first day when we arrived, without a permit (we forgot to print it before we left home), we parked at the assigned parking space all day and night without any problems. We then realized that we should get a permit because there were many posted car towing warning signs. Because we didn’t have a printer to print a permit that the property manager sent to us through email, so we call the emergency phone # given in the email to request a printed permit. Promptly, a printed permit was delivered to us by Melissa. Everything was going smoothly until Saturday morning when we walked out of our condo unit and did not see our car in our assigned parking space. We then realized that we forgot to put the printed permit back on the car dashboard after we came back from dinning in a restaurant the night before. We called the phone number that was posted on the towing warning sign and it was confirmed that they towed our car. The impound facility was about 10 miles away from us, so we took a free shuttle bus there. While waiting for a bus we got to know an island native who was born and lived there for 70 yrs. He was telling us that car towing is a lucrative business and there’s only one ca

  I'm so glad I found this condo! It was huge for the money. Bedrooms on second floor, so adults could stay up later than kids. Master bedroom has balcony with love seat and a couple chairs. I thoroughly enjoyed walking on the beach in the morning, eat breakfast on the deck, then nap on the love seat.. There were neighbor's next to us and under this condo, but we heard nothing from them.
  Internet wasn't working when we arrived, but Melissa contacted the carrier who sent a repair guy the next day. He provided a replacement modem and Internet was fixed. Melissa was available to meet him so we could continue our vacation.
