You will love this Modern Tropical condo right in the center of the island from Rent On Padre. It is located on East Swordfish, just steps away from the entertainment district. You are less than a block to the beach too! Fabulous location! This is a great 2BR/2BA condo that sleeps 6. You get a King Size bed in the master bedroom. The Second bedroom is a bunkbed with both a twin and a full size bed. There is also a twin trundle bed you can pull out from under the beds.

Please note, this condo does not allow Spring Break Students. During the month of March through Easter, this condo is a family only rental. Young groups will not be allowed to rent here.

The kitchen is one you will love to cook in. Granite counters and Stainless steel Appliances. It really is lovely. You also have a dishwasher as well as washer/dryer. You will love being here. If you have a larger group, You can rent Pueblo del Padre I #6, which is right next door.

  This home was perfect for my 5! Clean spacious cute ,Close to down town and the beach access . You can hear the bands outside at night , the pools were amazing view in back yrd so perfect while you swim. Definitely will rent again . Kitchen was stocked great and appliance all worked perfect.   This is a great rental. Loved loved the location. Very easy to leave the vehicle and walk to any of the locations in the entertainment district. Many of the great places to eat are within walking distance also.

  Great location. Condo was fairly clean. Disappointed that the washer and dryer were not working. Pool area was very clean but the water seemed a bit cloudy and the water was extremely warm. If you are on
  the second floor the steps are pretty steep so people with mobility issues might have a problem. Overall its a good location and condo. Despite the issues mentioned, I recommend this condo.

  The condo was very clean, updated and comfortable! Plenty of linens were supplied for the entire stay. It was very convenient and awesome to have the washer and dryer in the unit! The 2 pools were wonderful and serviced frequently during the stay. The kids and I enjoyed swimming daily! The location is absolutely fantastic! The beach was less than a 5 minute walk and the grocery store was right behind the condo on the next street. Restaurants and bars were close by as well. We cooked during our stay and the majority of all cooking utensils and pans were available. Could have used 1 bigger skillet and a baking sheet. Dishes and silverware were great! Beds and bedding were comfy and bathrooms clean and updated! The owners and employees were friendly, kind and informative. They also went out of their way to ensure our stay was amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a getaway!

  This condo is located within 5 min walk to the beach and 1 min walk to the main street - Padre blvd. Entrance is on the second story. It was nice and clean with spacious kitchen. One suggestion would be to add/update pots/skillet/glasses/utensils in the kitchen. Overall I had a nice stay and great communication with the property management.

  Great location, nice size rooms, baths, and closets. Small Back porch balcony with table and 2 chairs. Nicely decorated. Minimal cooking utensils, cook wear and prep dishes. Need floor light in master. Several maintenance items need attention. Microwave turn table, ice dispenser, light bulbs, broom/dust pan, kitchen faucet tightened to counter.

  The Swordfish location is really good. The property is in very good shape and is pleasantly appointed. We happened to stay during a week when the weather was less than optimal with wind and rain so we stayed in quite a bit. We felt very much at home. Close to the beach access which is very nice. One thing that should be addressed. Since we ended up having to stay out of the rain we rented tome Videos. The DVD player in bedroom TV played them fine until the last 1/4 of the disc. At that point it would stop frequently which was frustrating. Also tried to cook almost all of our meals there and pans were in less than fair condition.

  The condo was really nice and clean. However the pool area could use a little TLC and my daughter made the mistake of lifting the BBQ lid. I don't think it has ever been cleaned and not sure how long that food had been left on the grill. We loved the beach and its within walking distance. There is also a great cafe at the end of the street.

  Nice unit! Great location! Easy access with keyless entry. A pool and well stocked kitchen were on the top of our list when booking a place so that’s what I’ll comment on. We were really looking forward to hanging out at the pool area but the water in the pool was so warm that it wasn’t enjoyable. I realize it’s hot and not sure what could be done but if you’re renting for the pool just something to keep in mind. Also, the kitchen wasn’t well stocked. No Tupperware, only one big bowl. No pans. Had to purchase one at a nearby store to cook breakfast. A few banged up pots. We enjoyed everything else about our stay here.

  We stayed here for the month of January. The condo is in a great location to the store, beach and several good places to eat. Kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook. I would suggest you bring your own spices if you are planning on cooking a lot. Dishwasher and washer and dryer worked great. Bathroom shower off the master bedroom has very poor water flow. I used the other one and was fine. The condo is very quit, neighbors were very nice. Watch out when you pull in the driveway. You will drag the front end of your car. Stairs are steep and can be slippery in the morning. I did buy a broom and leave it there as the sand is impossible to keep out. Would have liked a vacuum for the rug. They did respond right away when I called them about the smoke alarm needing a new battery. Melissa was very easy to work with. Would stay here again!

  This is a wonderful condo! My family had all the room we needed to have a great stay for Christmas. We were disappointed with the variety of pots and pans, bowls, and utensils in the kitchen. It was hard to cook our meals. There was not broom to sweep up the sand. The balcony was a pleasant place to sit in the mornings with our coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon! Thank you Catherine and Melissa for all your assistance!

  Initially, the vacation rental did NOT begin well. I never received my final email that gave me a code to get into the condo. Being relatively new to vrbo, I thought there would be an office to go to. After driving from Colorado over a few days, we were exhausted and unprepared to spend the next several hours trying to get into the condo. All of the literature I received prior to our stay had one phone number on it that was unattended. After several hours, of emailing, texting, it was suggested that I try VRBO and I finally was able to get results. After that, the condo stay was great. The ice maker was broken such that you couldn't get ice from the door, but we were able to get ice, with our hands, out of the tub. We thought it would have been a nice gesture to receive a discount on the night we couldn't get into the condo, or something, but nothing was offered.

  My stay was mid Nov. The location and property were great and quiet. A quick 5 min walk to the beach entrance. The water was a little cold, but expected. Still plenty of sun and activities to keep you occupied without the crowd. Grocery store next store. A nice breakfast shop on the corner and plenty of places to shop within walking distance. Inside was very clean and roomy. I feel like this was not a home away from home. Very few and basic cooking utensils, it did include plenty of plates and silverware. Not a single spice or condiment. Not even salt/pepper. Be prepared to purchase all necessary cooking needs.

We go through each condo every fall and check for basic pots, pans, glassware, silverware, cutting boards, knives, spatulas, etc. They have a habit of growing feet and walking away.   Overall, great home base for exploring SPI. Close to center of the island, so minutes to either end. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Plenty of towels. Lots of pillows.
  
  Couches were comfy. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics. You can cook and serve a meal from this kitchen. A small selection of items to get you through a short stay: dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, a coffee packet, etc.
  
  Had to call the property management company twice for issues and both times quickly got a real human being on the phone (hi, Melissa!). FYI, as of October 2017, there's a brand new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal and fresh batteries in the smoke detectors (thanks, Carlos!).
  
  Subjective things:
  
  The king mattress is pretty firm. Great for hubby, too firm for me.
  
  The water pressure in the master bath is lackluster. It's usable but weak. It's decent in the 2nd bathroom.
  
  If you have a lot of gadgets to charge, bring a strip plug (or 2).
  
  Breakfast/lunch joint (Grapevine) 2 doors down. Full grocery store 1-1/2 blocks away.
  
  If you have a low front air dam on your car, be careful pulling into the parking spot.
  
  We definitely would stay here again.

  This unit is absolutely beautiful! The colors are great and the decor is perfect for a beach getaway. It is spacious and well furnished. The beds are very comfortable although one of them had ripped sheets but that wasn't too big of deal. The kitchen supplies are a little space. The pictures are a very accurate reflection of Pueblo de Padre 4. It even smells very pleasant! The management was also helpful. But...previous vacationers have not taken very good care of this unit. It infuriates me when people are so inconsiderate of others property! It's badly in need of paint and furniture touch up. My biggest complaint was the lack of cleanliness. I have personally owned rentals in the past and would not have accepted the job done by housekeeping prior to our arrival. I had to do some cleaning myself after we got there. If the unit was touched up and cleaner it would get five stars!!!

  It was clean and large enough for our 4 person family. Walking distance to a lot of food and fun. Downside was the kichen was poorly stocked. We had to buy cups and even salt and basic spices. There was a large locked 6x3ft trunk that was kind of in the way. Clothes storage was not the best. If there was WIFI we were never told the password so cellular was spotty at best. It was better than some but I would suggest it for people who want to eat out for all meals and just use the condo as a landing pad.
