The Villas 6401 Fountain Way

This is a STUNNING and spacious beach house from Rent On Padre that sleeps 10 located in the Villas of South Padre Island. This 4BR/3.5BA House provides plenty of room for everyone. There are living rooms on each floor as well as private decks. You wont be disappointed.

This is a home that provides you with lots of sleeping space! There is a King size master bedroom, the second bedroom is a Queen size bed. In the third bedroom you get a twin bed as well as a trundle bed. One of the two living rooms has a sleeper sofa. The Last Bedroom is the coolest. This room is a huge room, taking up most of the third floor. It is a game room, TV room, Bar room, and of course, has 1 bunk bed and a twin bed off to the side. The bunk is a full bed on the bottom and twin on top.

There are Patios on every floor. You will enjoy sitting outside soaking up the sun eating your meals.

This condo is located in an Exclusive Gated Property within The Villas of South Padre. This Community has its own private Swimming Pool, Hot tub, and tennis courts. It is a short walk to the beach, just around the corner. The Landscaping is phenomenal. There are lots of lush palms and tropical flowers throughout this wonderful community.

Nearby activities include: Golf, Tennis, Water Park (seasonal), Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Movie Theater, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

Please note, The Villas of South Padre Island allows families only. This home requires the primary renter to be 25 years of age or older and the head of household. This home does not allow Spring Break groups. Rest assured, your family will not be surrounded by Spring Break Party houses. Young groups will not be allowed to rent here. The Villas also requires a 3 night minimum.

  The home was a short walk to the beach, which is what we wanted. Initially, getting through the guard gate - this is a gated community - was a nightmare. Despite providing the guest list and the vehicle of all parties, it still took an unacceptable amount of time to get in, despite that one party had already been cleared and was admitted to the property. The house was okay, however it’s definitely in need of some paint in the trim inside. Many of the window blinds were broken and the windows themselves were filthy. I think we all expected something a little nicer than what it was, considering the price. If all of this is inconsequential to you, it’s a great location close to the beach bars. I would like to give 10 stars to Melinda with the property management company. She was prompting her responses and was extremely helpful in getting us admitted to the property

  I feel the house wasn't set up for 10 people.
  I had to ask for more then 4 towels.
  The cable was out.
  We had to buy a lot of cooking items to prepare dinners, pans,bowls, serving items.
  We didn't know we had to wear a tag around our wrist which 2 of us broke out a rash and ended up cutting it off.
  We had pieces of dust fall off of the light that landed in our dinner from the light above the table, we then noticed that everything that high hasn't been cleaned for a while so we wiped stuff off so that didn't happen again.

  Really enjoyed our stay in this large multi storey house one block from the gulf. Walking distance to turtle rescue, bird sanctuary and Clayton’s. It’s a gated area, but the security gate staff were so nice. The pool is a short walk also lovely not crowded. Lots of stairs so not the best for the old or youngsters. Missed having a grill available. I would definitely stay there again.

  We enjoyed our recent stay on South Padre Island. Our family makes a trip to the island annually but this was our first time staying at this property. The house was absolutely beautiful and very close to the beach. We had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking meals. The balconies were amazing for drinking coffee in the mornings and watching the full moon eclipse in the evening. The gate attendants were friendly and helpful. Melissa was great to work with and very helpful with tips and making check-in smooth and painless. We are definitely are planning to return for another stay at this property!

  A lot of wear and needs some work, but it was very clean. Spacious with a full bath and living area on each floor. WiFi was weak and spotty. The sofa bed was broken and not useable and the trundle bed didn’t pop up. Mixer, electric can opener and microwave turntable didn’t work. Definitely time for new cookware. However the proximity to the beach was fabulous! We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The small gated community was quiet and safe. Location was great.

  We really loved this house. The layout is perfect for large families or multiple families. Multiple living areas and porches allow for good visiting as well.   The property was very well maintained. The only disappointment was not being able to have any guest in the home besides the ones staying at the location. Only ten bands are given and that includes children. Besides that felt very safe, clean, and very spacious, some rooms could of used blinds to keep sunlight out in the morning. Access to the beach and pool are a short walk away. Would stay there again if it were only one family going.

  We loved staying here with our friends for 5 days! The pool and the beach are very convenient, the house has lots of amenities (**it would be nice to have a pot holder, beach chairs, and beach/pool towels, though**). We highly recommend this location. All 8 of us were very comfortable in this house.

  Our stay was pleasant and we liked the location and proximity to the beach. Our rental agent was very accommodating. This property needs updating. The bottom floor furniture was extremely uncomfortable. The dishwasher racks were rusted, and the bed should have been a king. It was surface clean but needed a deep cleaning. The was no garage door opener, and our truck could not fit in the garage, but we were happy to have one for our car. The upstairs was better in regards to comfort.

  All in all, it's a beautiful house and perfect for our large family and dogs for a couple of weeks of relaxation and beach combing. Could have been cleaner, and the kitchen better equipped, but those were minor glitches in an otherwise terrific experience. Would definitely recommend this rental and company to others.

  House was clean, everything in working order. Loved the easy access to the beach & not having to worry with parking out vehicle. Also being able to view the different firework shows right from our balcony was so fun & easy? Especially with kids. We would definitely use this site again & would love to even stay at the same home. The only "complaint" we would even have is having to check in late & check out early, but we also understand the reasoning so that the house may be cleaned & inspected for the next guests.

  Melissa was awesome! The location was clean! Close access to the beach, pool and hot tub. The location was prefect it's still close enough to everything but far enough for it to be quiet and calm. Security was awesome and made the stay feel safe.

  Our rental was in a beautiful gated community. It was close to the beach and safe and secure. The house had plenty of room along with some updating. The furnishings on the bottom floor were stained or worn, however. The chairs that went with the dinner table were very uncomfortable. There were no side table by the couch or chair. In the little cozy nook on the second floor had a torn ottoman which lost the nooks appeal. I would recommend this house if the owners updated the furnishings!!

  This property was perfect for a family Thanksgiving gathering. My elderly parents stayed in the bedroom bath on the bottom floor, where the living area is, so they didn't have to navigate stairs. Hubby and I stayed on the very private second floor suite, while the kids and grandkids had the top floor to themselves. Perfect. I am a serious "foodie", though, and the kitchen equipment was sorely lacking. I'm very glad that I brought a suitcase full of items from homes to cook with and that Walmart was not far away in Port Isabella, as I had to purchase a few items that I consider kitchen basics (measuring cups, hand mixer, cookie sheet). If you always eat out, you'd never miss these.

There were many little things wrong with the property. All problems we told the agent about were taken care of. The property owner should maintain the house a lot better.   The house is in great shape. Washer and dryer worked great as did all the other appliances. We even figured out how the intercom system worked to play music. The Internet service worked well, too. The community was quiet and once inside the house, very quiet. The property sleeps 10 people VERY comfortably. The only reason I'm rating a 4 star versus 5 is because an investment in setting up the kitchen to be able to cook for 10 people would be an improvement that would have made our stay amazing. We enjoyed watching fireworks off the garage patio at 9:15.

  Fantastic home perfect for a holiday with kids. Great location in gated community,with minutes walk to pool and private beach entrance. Keyless entry makes it a breeze to get in and out. Rooms are large and generous in size. Kitchen well equipped. Cribs and high chairs available for rent from another provider. We had a great time and would book again!

  An excellent location with a short walk to the beach. Plenty of room for large families with pets. This gated community was very friendly and safe. Property management was extremely helpful. The Island has many restaurants with daily specials which always help the pocket book.
