Oleander Place #203

Welcome to Oleander Place from Rent On Padre! The owners like to call it "The Palace at Sunriseville" This is a gorgeous three bedroom / two bathroom condo located just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico. This condo sleeps 8. Oleander Place #203 has lots of custom details. When you walk in you will see the dramatic vaulted ceiling in the great room with a custom mural of a beach scene.

Please note, this condo does not allow Spring Break Students. During the month of March through Easter, this condo is a family only rental. Young groups will not be allowed to rent here.

This condo is pretty amazing. You enter it on the second of the building. On the main level you will see the amazing deluxe gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen and the living room are open concept, so you will have lots of space. There is a full size bathroom with an oversized shower. On this floor you will also find 2 bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other has 2 full size beds. The sofa is also a sleeper sofa.

Walk up the stairs to the master suite. This bedroom has its own bathroom with a double whirlpool tub. You also have a limited view of the Gulf of Mexico from the private master deck. If you are up early enough, you might even catch a glimpse of the sunrise from up here.

Nearby activities include: Golf, Water Park (seasonal), Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Movie Theater, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

There were just a couple of things needing attention like the master toilet seat needs replacing and the master patio had lots of bird poop which could of been cleaned before arrival.   Great location and layout for a family, mediocre amenities, especially considering the extra phone calls, paperwork, and deposits required to stay here. The property management company is stingy with amenities like toilet paper, paper, towels, towels, soap, etc. They tell you to bring your own trash bags! The pool was disgusting – very dirty and hot. Frustratingly late check in and early departure times.

We provide: 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom 1 roll of paper towels 1 bar of soap 5 dishwasher tabs 1 3oz bottle dish soap 5 trash bags for kitchen trash can ! package microwave popcorn salt/pepper, coffee filters, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, pump soap at every sink. I am sorry that wasn't enough for you. We leave you enough to get you started. I wish you had called Rent On Padre about the pool. We would have contacted the building manager. Check in is at 4, check out 10. We need the time to clean and sanitize each unit between guests.

  Great layout with rooms and amenities for family. Toys, books, and games for friend’s family. Very good price for what is offered. Pool was nice temp. Plenty of cook ware.

  Ice maker didn’t work. looks like liner needs to be redone, bottom looked like it had sand or dirt on bottom but was just the stuff below the liner. Roku remote didn’t work. Wet bathroom mats were in the drier when we firsts dgot there and only one load of laundry detergent was provided. With beach trips have to wash & dry towels multiple times.

  This unit is very homey and spacious - clean, very well equipped, comfortable. The pool was nice for relaxing. Location is perfect for beach days & the street has extra parking available. We were able to walk to local shops and the grocery store. Communication from Rent on Padre was A+!
  *The showers were tricky - it was disclosed in an email after renting but it would be great if they were replaced since kids and adults were having trouble starting the shower. Not a dealbreaker at all once you ge the hang of it, so other than that, I would definitely rent again!

  Me and my five children decided to go to South Padre for our family vacation. We chose this condo it was so nice it was very clean very roomy and nice and cold the AC was very good at keeping the house cool. We did have an incident with the AC was acting up and they were there within an hour and had it fixed. Also one of my children left their childhood stuffed animal there and they are shipping it back to us. My child was so upset I am so grateful to Catherine for doing this for us. I also like how close we were to the beach it was about a 5-minute walk and we were on the beach. The condo is located off the main strip where all the shops and restaurants are everything was within 5 to 10 minutes. My kids loved the jacuzzi they stayed in there everyday at least for an hour. We had a great time and looking forward to going back again soon.

  We stayed at 120 Oleander Unit 203 last year and were so impressed by the accommodations that we booked again this summer. On last year's review, we mentioned that the stairs leading up to the unit were "iffy". When we arrived this year we were greeted by NEW STAIRS! Now on to the stay. As was the case last year, Sunriseville was a beautiful condo. There was PLENTY of room, the kitchen was well stocked with the necessities to cook, the a/c kept the unit a cool 75 degrees (exactly what we keep our house) and the spa tub in the Master Suite was awesome!. It was clean and exactly as described. The check-in and check-out process could not be any simpler. There is a quick and convenient walk to the beach. I would recommend this unit to EVERYONE! Obviously, we will be staying here in the future!

  We had a very nice trip for our 1st time staying on the island. My in-laws drove over from San Banito stayed on the island with us. The overall review of the property is fabulous!!!! The upstairs master suite my wife & I stayed in was beautiful. Huge comfy bed, nice bathroom layout with a patio you could enjoy the am sun & hear the ocean. Only 3 minor things I’d fix in master suite. The broken tile on balcony, very sharpe edges, need bigger hot water heater to fill the 2 man jacuzzi tub, and a bigger tv with new remotes. And the saloon swinging doors with a toilet in a closet feel isn’t all that great. 4 out of 5 stars on master suite.
  The other 2 bed rooms seemed to work well with the in laws & 14 year old son. They shared a bathroom & did not have any issues that I’m aware of. So I’m grading them a 5 out of 5.
  Layout of the kitchen & great room was really cool & so enjoyable. Kitchen had everything for our meals and enough space for 2-3 people to move around. Kitchen table was nice. Heavy duty chairs & big table, but had a corner broke off but no sharpe edges. Counter with barstools was nice but stools could be taller. Furniture was comfy and tv was adequate. Bonus was the little bar area with small fridge & sink.The washer & dryer was super convenient for wet swimwear & towels from jucuzzi. 5 out of 5
  Nice patio out the door to enjoy the am sun & sit & relax at night with a warm breeze and hear the ocean. We loved the jacuzzi and used it a lot!!! The pool is not heated and was to cool to use. Out side shower for sand was useful. We used the grill 3 times and it was nice to have. Outside amenities is a 4 out of 5
  Our biggest issue was the dirt on the floors, vent covers & in the kitchen when we arrived.The cleaning crew has cleaned the floors.Black around all the white floorboards on all the tile flooring. Kitchen cabinet handles,doors & counter tops were not properly cleaned. Stairs for 70+ year olds was tough<b

  Great vacation rental and location. Had everything you could need for a short or long stay. Did not utilize any of the cooking stuff. Shower in master did not work and had mildew around the drainer. Loved it was equipped with kids toys and books. Did not know we could not use the grill unless staying 30+ days so this was disappointing. Parking was crunched. Loved the layout and overall decor of the rental and would def recommend.   We rented the property for a week in July. The condo is enormous. It is close to the beach and restaurants and has two parking spots, but not room for a third car. The condo is well equipped with lots of kitchen tools and appliances. There is a lot of comfortable seating in the dining and living rooms, and games, puzzles, books and current magazines were provided. There were many towels (folded into origami shapes like swans!). There is a place to rinse off after the beach in the backyard. The pool is very small and we did not use it. There was also a grill which we did not use. There was a problem with the shower and the management company was helpful and had maintenance right out. The A/C worked well and the wifi too. There are televisions in all the rooms although we only used the one in the living room. The condo provided a small amount of starter household items such as paper towels, toilet paper, and dish soap.
  The concerns I had was that there was so many kitchen tools, but they were stained, warped or dirty. The stairs to the condo were older and slightly unstable, so an older renter may need to be very careful on the stairs. Overall the condo is excellent and I would rent it again.

  I thought it was a priveta house with pool. Just need to clean the fans from ceiling leaving room, need door handle loose,shower curting on masterroom. Swimming pool to small. But the rest was all very good and nice. close to the beach

  The Condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. Very close to the beach access and several restaurants!!! We plan on vacationing again this fall and definitely will rent this unit once again. Melissa is the best!!! Will definitely use Rent On Padre for all of our trips to the Valley!!

  Very nice place, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to beach, convenience stores & novelty stores. Nicely decorated & very roomy for four adults & 4 children. Anytime things needed fixing, the managers were right there within the hour to help. It was well stocked & nothing extra was needed.

  Met up with the extended family for a few days of relaxing fun. Very clean, close walk to the beach, plenty of supplies and kitchenware. Pool & pool area very small & akward for more than 1 group of people. Overall excellent stay, would definitely recommend!
