Welcome to the Race Track. Step into the past and enjoy this beach home managed by Rent On Padre. It will remind you of coming to the beach when you were a kid This is one of the older homes on the island. But don't let that scare you, you have an amazing view, reserved for just you. You also have your own private beach access right from the steps of your home. You can sit on your porch and watch the waves all day and all night. This house is one of the original homes on the island. It is 4 bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths. It will sleep up to 18 people. Each bedroom has 2 full size beds and there is a futon on the lower level for 2 more people.

The downstairs area has two bedrooms and a sitting area along with the 1 1/2 bathrooms. From this floor you can walk out directly to your beach access. Imagine not sharing a beach access with anyone but the people in your group. There is also a garage with a washer and dryer. As well as a collection of beach toys.

Upstairs you will find the great room with the dining room, kitchen, and living room. This house is very comfortable for a large group. You also have an amazing deck with fabulous views. You will spend a lot of time on the deck counting the waves. You also have another two bedrooms each with their own bathroom.

  This house is so old school. We loved it. We didn't have to worry about kids bumping things or ruining things. We could just hang out and enjoy ourselves. The deck is fabulous! We spent most of our time there.

  I didn't realize that I stayed here before when I rented it. Although, not much has changed in the last few years since I was last here, it is still the same. It is a big old beach house. They don't build them like this anymore. It it pretty far from fancy, it is real. With the new company managing it, it is much, much cleaner than it was. The deck is also new. We spent a lot of time on that deck and at the beach. Inside was just for sleeping. I am glad I found "my house" again. We will be back.

  Yes, this place is run down and old. But it was exactly what we needed. We loved that it was away from everyone. It was big enough for our group. There were enough bathrooms and beds. The AC worked great. We loved that deck and the view. I also want to note that is was very clean. Rent on Padre, we will be back.

  I am not gonna lie and say this was the most beautiful place I have ever been, it wasn't. The view was though. The house needs a little love, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it. We had our own beach access which was awesome. We had a few minor problems, but Rent On Padre helped us right away. If you can look past the dated part, everything was really clean. We look forward to making future memories here.

  This was our second winter season stay at the Race Track. It’s location right on the beach and central location on the island lends itself to walking distance to most everything. Property manager was very helpful and cheerful. This beach cottage is one of the last right on the beach and is a unique experience. The view from the deck of the Gulf is unsurpassed.
